Pour bien démarrer votre carrière de pilote de ligne, il est important de remplir les pré-requis minimum suivants :

Age

Minimum of 18 years

Educational background

A high school diploma (ideally including Mathematics)

English proficiency

ICAO English Level 3 proficiency or equivalent

Medical exam

A valid EASA Class 1 medical certificate (only required from the on-site screening step)

Notre processus de sélection a pour objectif d’évaluer votre potentiel de réussite. Nous souhaitons mieux vous connaître, apprécier votre motivation et vos aptitudes à suivre notre programme avec succès. Ceci afin de vous assurer le meilleur des départs dans votre carrière de pilote de ligne.

Étape 1 : évaluation préliminaire en ligne
Incluant des tests physiques, cognitifs, de mathématiques, anglais et conscience situationnelle

  • Durée : ~20 min
  • Lieu: en ligne, via la plateforme de notre partenaire
  • Coût : 40$ US

Étape 2 : évaluation sur site
Incluant des tests d’aptitudes et de personnalité, exercices en groupe, entretien en anglais, évaluation sur simulateur

  • Durée : 1 jour
  • Lieu: sur le campus 
  • Coût et détails envoyés par courriel sur invitation

Étape 3 : phase de confirmation
Rejoignez l’école pour préparer l’admission finale sur site : ~8 semaines d’immersion pratique sur simulateur, en vol (18h) et théorique, conclus par un test final en vol pour officiellement devenir cadet Airbus !

Informations clés pour préparer votre aventure

Passport and visa

You must check your legal right to study, travel and stay within the country of the chosen flight school. We provide a certificate to support your visa application directly to National authorities.

Accommodation

We assist in finding local accommodations. Various options, such as studio apartments or shared houses near the training centre of your choice, make sure that your stay is adapted to your needs.

Financing support

Our schools partner with local banks to identify preferential loan conditions. Please also check with banks in your home country to assess the best options. Contact us for more details.

Step 1: Online assessment is available 24/7. Step 2: Onsite screening is regularly planned based on candidate and seat availability.

Online and on-site screening results are valid for a period of 1 year.

Programme start dates

New cohorts are introduced every 3 to 6 months. We do our best to share new dates regularly. We have no doubt that one will be waiting for you shortly!

What is the deadline for applications?

If you are successful during the first two steps of the assessment, you will be invited to join the next-available course open date.

How can I prepare before applying?

We are looking for applicants who are enthusiastic about the world of aviation and who are keen to become a pilot. There is no specific preparation to do before you apply. Please see details on the selection process invitation and make sure you meet the minimum prerequisites before applying.

How long does the course last?

The full programme duration is approximately 24 months, including approximately 8/9 months for the ground training (theoretical ATPL) and more than 200 hours of practical training on both simulators & light aircraft.

What happens when I graduate?

Upon completing our full EASA-based integrated programme, you will have a ‘frozen’ ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence): a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) including theoretical ATPL, Instrument rating for multi-engine (IR/ME), advanced Upset prevention and recovery training (UPRT) and Jet orientation course & Multi-crew cooperation (JOC/MCC).

You can then apply directly to airlines. Airbus supports cadets by ensuring they meet operational standards and by working closely with airline partners to facilitate links and opportunities.

Application process fees (payable in full and in advance by the applicant):

  • Online assessment: 40 US$

  • On-site assessment: please contact local flight school

For training programme fees, please contact the local flight school.

Depending on the location, living expenses (housing, food) may not be included in the training programme fees. However our local flight schools can support you. Please contact them for further details.

Is there any help available to fund my training?

We are working closely with airline customers & partners in order to identify financing solutions and hope to be able to provide more options soon to help you fund your training.
Currently, Airbus does not finance individual cadets. However, our flight school partners have developed partnerships with local banks to help with student loans.
